Uterine cancer

The uterus consists of a main body (corpus) and a neck (cervix).

Cancer of the neck of the womb is called cervical cancer. Cancer of the corpus can either be of the lining of the womb (endometrial cancer) or part of a group of tumors called uterine sarcomas.
